Pretty Woman 2 (2025) – First Trailer | Richard Gere, Julia Roberts

Set 30 years after their whirlwind romance, Pretty Woman 2 finds Edward Lewis (Richard Gere) and Vivian Ward (Julia Roberts) living a quiet life in New York City. Edward, now semi-retired from the corporate world, spends most of his time mentoring young entrepreneurs, while Vivian, a philanthropist and founder of a women’s empowerment non-profit, balances social causes with family life. Though still deeply in love, their relationship is tested when their grown daughter, Ella (played by a rising star), begins to rebel against her sheltered upbringing.
Vivian’s past resurfaces when her former best friend Kit (a cameo from Laura San Giacomo) reaches out with news: the neighborhood they both came from in Los Angeles is under threat from a luxury development. Against Edward’s cautious advice, Vivian returns to L.A. to fight the development and reconnect with her roots. There, she finds herself drawn into the lives of young women who remind her of her past — especially a troubled teenager named Zoe, who reminds Vivian of herself.

Meanwhile, Edward faces his own challenge when a rival firm tries to acquire one of the companies he’s helped build ethically — threatening everything he now stands for. With tensions rising at home and thousands of miles apart, Edward and Vivian must rediscover the fire that brought them together decades ago.

In the final act, Edward shows up unexpectedly in Los Angeles, publicly supporting Vivian’s cause, shocking the developers and charming the media. The movie ends with a modern twist on the classic “rescue” scene — only this time, they rescue each other. Together, they unveil a new women’s center in the old neighborhood, named after Kit, who passes away in a heartfelt moment of reconciliation.
The film closes on a rooftop, with Edward and Vivian dancing to a soft reprise of “Pretty Woman”, reflecting on their imperfect, beautiful journey — not just as lovers, but as partners who grew into something stronger than fantasy: real love.
